Warner Bros. Pictures’ upcoming superhero flick, “The Flash,” directed by Andy Muschietti, has released its second trailer and it’s a must-watch for all DC fans! The movie is set to hit cinemas on June 15, 2023, and will be the first standalone feature film for the DC Super Hero Barry Allen, played by Ezra Miller.
The trailer gives us a glimpse of what’s in store for Barry Allen as he tries to change the events of the past, only to alter the future inadvertently. This leads to a reality where General Zod has returned, threatening destruction, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. Barry’s only hope is to coax a retired Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian, but not the one he’s looking for. The ultimate sacrifice may be needed to reset the universe and save the world.
The ensemble cast includes rising star Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdú, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Michael Keaton. The movie is produced by Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco, with a screenplay by Christina Hodson, screen story by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein and Joby Harold, based on characters from DC.
Behind the camera, we have director of photography Henry Braham, production designer Paul Denham Austerberry, editors Jason Ballantine and Paul Machliss, costume designer Alexandra Byrne, and the score is by Benjamin Wallfisch.
