Destiny 2: Lightfall has been receiving criticism regarding the difficulty of its foes in Legend and Master activities, as well as in Neomuna Patrol. However, Bungie has released a new hotfix that aims to address these issues.
One of the changes made in the hotfix is a reduction in the number of Elite enemies in Neomuna. Additionally, Cabal turrets in Ahimsa Park have been adjusted, with slower respawn times. In the Legendary Exotic mission for Season 20, the combatant health scaling has been reduced for two and three-player teams.
Enemy health has also been reduced in Legendary and Master Nightfalls, Battlegrounds, Lost Sectors, Offensives, Hunts, and Campaign missions, making the game more accessible for players. The final encounter in Root of Nightmares has also been made more challenging, due to a fix for an issue that caused the boss to not react when players stood in a Well of Radiance.
The hotfix also addresses a number of other issues, including fixes for Quicksilver Storm and Touch of Malice. Additionally, the Guardian Ranks 7, 8, and 9 now require fewer Commendation scores, and Hawthorne’s weekly challenge requires fewer Commendations.
The hotfix also addresses a number of issues related to weapons and power and progression. Overall, the changes aim to improve the player experience and make the game less frustrating for all players.
